outfit + beer fest

saturday was a great day! first i had a baby shower for a friend of mine. no pictures of course :( i actually had to leave after the first hour because me and mike had plans to go to the top of the hops beer fest with 2 other couples. it was our first time, i think this was only the 2nd year they have had it in our area. the tickets are normally $38 per person and you get unlimited 2oz samples of over 150 beers. well we found the tickets 2 for 1 on a 1/2 off deals website so we decided to give it a try! we ended up getting there 2 hours late and its only 4 hours long but we had lots of fun in those 2 hours! the weather was hottt! the high was 84 and its only march! grrrr. in the summer its normally 95-100 on any given day :( i guess we are in for a hot summer! after the fest we spent about 15 mins deciding where to eat. always hard for a group of people that love to eat to agree on a place, ha! we decided on chili's. its pretty much our go-to place. we headed to a local bar to watch a band afterwards. by around 11:30 we were ready to head home. we all had a 45 min-an hr drive home and were pooped from being out in the sun. all and all it was a great day :) i asked (told) mike to snap some outfit pics before we left.
