nashville! part 2:

on our second day there, we decided to spend all day downtown. we walked around for a bit, had lunch followed by coffee, then bar hoped while having a few drinks at each stop. i honestly dont know what i was thinking. i drank way too much! we were in bed by 11pm, ha! oh! and it was 45 degrees and all i had was that black cardigan! whos the idiot that didnt check the weather the day before her trip!? oh that would be me! regardless of all that, we had such a fun day!

on our third day we decided to venture out to hillsboro village area. we ate the most delicious breakfast at the pancack pantry! we walked around town for a couple hours then went to the mall of green hills. talk about a nice mall. its definitely a rich persons mall! i was feeling like death that day due to my over drinking the night before. we managed to take a nap before getting ready for dinner. we headed out to east nashville and picked batter'd and fried for dinner. we then went for a couple drinks at beyond the edge and the red door saloon. fun night!

we decided to sleep in on our last day (8:30) instead of getting up at the crack of dawn again to drive. we didnt mind getting home late since it was a saturday and we still had all of sunday to recoop before going back to work. we loaded up the car and stopped at shoney's for the breakfast buffet before we hit the road.

we got home around 8 and immediately starting cuddling our pup and catching up on our dvr'd shows. heres some instagram photos of the trip to enjoy :)

all in all: lovely trip! have i ever mentioned that i dont like country music? well there is prolly about 100 out of a million country songs that i actually like. and for mike, its even less. anytime i told someone we were going to nashville they would say "i didnt know you liked country music!" well people, nashville definitely has more to offer than that :) and the 2 bands we watched downtown played the good stuff! this was our 2nd time there, we went 4 years ago. i think this was better than the first. hopefully we can go every couple years or so!
